September News
I will be real with you. September has been a hard month! Coming home provided relief on one hand but reintegration into the family after 3 months of being gone has been difficult. We have had struggles and we feel very tired from the challenges but we also have much to be thankful for.
The month’s summary of thanks:
3 bee hives have arrived!
We are now working the farm exchange for food.
We purchased a van- FINALLY!
We picked grapes for making wine with our landlord Lino.
Nathanael is playing football for the DOD school.
We recorded and posted 3 podcasts teachings on the fall Feasts of the Lord and we began celebrating them as a family.
We began living life along with some normal rhythms.

Farm work & Food
We donated many hours of time to help in the pickup of chestnuts, a main crop at the farm. We are also giving an exchange of work one day of the week for food. We have only just begun partnering with them and are happy to do life alongside this beautiful family.

John found this van below our budget and it was a gift from God. We did not realize how much money it was going to take to register the vehicle, ourselves, nor get the insurance. We accidently became local residents of Piana di Monte Verna and John got his “Carta d’ identita”, which we didn’t realize we even needed for the Insurance. God provided before we even knew to ask for it. Thank you for all your prayers!! This has been a game changer and life has gotten a lot easier having wheels.

Provision. We need our house in WA to sell. September is the first month that we have had to financially cover our home in WA and our home in Italy. Please pray for the right buyer and a speedy closing.
Breakthrough. We need either a job for John or a clear vision and battle plan for working in ministry full time together. We currently cannot maintain living like we are without some kind of breakthrough.
Purpose. New pictures of purpose that will help us focus this next year. What are His goals for our family here in Italy? Unity between John and I as this vision is built.
Healing! I am battling physical pain and need a reset. In fact, my whole family is recovering from the long summer and we all need healing, emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Joy. We all need joy, an exchange of the oil of gladness for mourning. His overwhelming, totally encompassing, beautiful and bright gift of joy. This season we are leaving has been a season of mourning but I am hopeful that this next season is characterized by our ability to count it all joy.
Rest. The enemy has come against us strong and Jesus keeps telling me to rest in Him. I need to be benched and learn how to stay put!
